A Man with a Tape Recorder Up His Nose is a sketch that appears in "The Ant, an Introduction," the ninth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus. It also appears in And Now for Something Completely Different.

Synopsis[]

An announcer (John Cleese) behind Ada's Snack Bar announces that it is time for something completely different and cuts to a man (Michael Palin) with a tape recorder up his nose, which plays the "Marseillaise." He reverses it and plays it again. A voiceover then announces the next sketch.
