Apology for Violence and Nudity is a sketch that appears in "The Money Programme," the twenty-ninth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Synopsis[]

A voiceover (Eric Idle) informs the audience the next scene of the sketch contains violence, which includes "people's heads and arms getting chopped off, their ears nailed to trees, and their toenails pulled out in slow motion" as well as some nudity. He says the BBC will be replacing it with a scene from a repeat of Gardening Club in 1958.
