Arthur Ewing is a musician who possessed "musical mice." He is introduced for a performance by his mice, who are arranged like an organ and are to perform "The Bells of St. Mary's." However, he begins beating the mice with mallets whilst humming and he is dragged off stage.
He also appeared on an "ident" for the BBC Two's "Python Night" dedicated to Monty Python's 30th anniversary in 1999, with him smashing a mouse (that was in a maze designed to look like the iconic Gill Sans 2 logo used at the time. with a mallet and then tries to kill a kitten with said mallet but he is then once again dragged off stage. And later, said ident but this time with the kitten inside the maze, not the mouse. Though this time, he proceeds to kill the kitten off screen anyway.
