Bull-fighting is a sketch that appears in "The Nude Organist," the thirty-fifth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Synopsis[]

A presenter (Eric Idle) discusses the safety of bull-fighting. Brigadier Arthur Farquar-Smith (John Cleese) begins ranting about bull-fighters. A giant hammer strikes him on his head but he resumes, describing how they should send missiles to the bull instead. As his ranting becomes camper, the hammer hits him, and he turns butch again. The lights dim, and Mr. Badger (Eric Idle) is heard saying "I'll put the lights on again for a pound."

An animated man apologises and says the interruption can be solved with a simple push of a button, but his arm begins winding around the screen.
