Doctor is a sketch that appears in "Dennis Moore," the thirty-seventh episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis[]
The doctor (Terry Jones) greets Mrs O (Eric Idle) and Mrs Trepidatious (Graham Chapman), who complains about her arm. The Doctor is unable to open his bag, attacking it with furniture and eventually shooting it open. He takes out a stethoscope and chucks it out the window, hitting another doctor (Chapman) who recoils in disgust. The Doctor orders Mrs Trepidatious to hand over her money which she does. He tests their reflexes (by flashing them) and is lifted off the set.
In the hospital, another doctor (Michael Palin) and the nurse (Carol Cleveland) tend to a patient (Terry Gilliam) as the doctor empties his wallet. He moves onto the next patient (Frank Lester) and asks for his employment benefits. The next patient is connected to a saline drip of coins.
