Mr Neutron is Still Missing is a sketch that appears in "Mr Neutron," the forty-fourth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Synopsis[]

Mr neutron 5

Captain Carpenter talking to Teddy Salad

In Number 10 Downing Street, the prime minister (Eric Idle) is working at his desk, which is in a fancy restaurant with a bad violin player. The secretary of state (Michael Palin) enters, who informs him that the Supreme Commander of the U.S. wants a full-scale red alert. The prime minister struggles to hear over the violin player, Giuseppe (Terry Jones), who has joined them at their table. The secretary of state continues, telling him about Mr Neutron over the noise of the restaurant-goers and Giuseppe.

Meanwhile, Captain Carpenter (Idle) rejoins the eskimo (Jones), saying Teddy Salad didn't tell him anything. Suddenly, the eskimo interprets Teddy, who is saying it's so painful in his disguise. Carpenter tells him about Mr Neutron, but Teddy says he's got to go walkies again.

Back in the F.E.A.R headquarters, the Supreme Commander (Palin) is washing himself when his receptionist (Carol Cleveland) informs him over the intercom that Captain Carpenter or Mr Neutron still haven't been heard from yet. He orders Moscow, Peking and Shanklin, Isle of Wight, to bomb Neutron out, bombing the wrong places.

A U.S. Air Force truck with loudspeakers drives through the bombed out ruins of Enfield, apologising for the damage.
