Seashore Interlude Film is a sketch that appears in "Salad Days," the thirty-third episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis[]
A film of a seashore runs and the word 'Interlude' appears over it. A man dressed as a Roundhead (John Cleese) walks on-screen and apologises for the pauses after the credits as the show isn't quite as long as it's supposed to be. He walks off admiring the seascape.
A while later, he appears again and insists to the audience that there's really nothing else funny that's going to happen. The scene fades out.
