Synopsis[edit | edit source]

The professor leaving the studio in annoyance

Professor R.J. Canning (Graham Chapman) introduces a show called 'The World of History'. It then cuts to five undertakers reminiscing about the 1348 Black Death. Canning then complains about having been interrupted. As he begins to carry on, it cuts to two undertakers driving hearses, trying to over take each other. Canning decides to leave the studio in annoyance, and an undertaker (Terry Jones) comes into shot and asks the audience "Are you nervy, irritable, depressed, tired of life? Keep it up."
