Jerusalem (And Did Those Feet) is a sketch that appears in "Owl-Stretching Time," the fourth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Synopsis

Live from the Cardiff Rooms, Libya, a singer (Eric Idle) sings "Jerusalem" replacing the lyric "feet" with "teeth." He then introduces the next sketch, requested by Pip, Pauline, Nigel, Tarquin, and Spotty, Tarquin's mother.

Later, the singer continues singing "Jerusalem" as a woman (Katya Wyeth) begins fondling him and a caption appears, reading, "IT'S A MAN'S LIFE IN THE CARDIFF ROOMS, LIBYA." This causes a Colonel to become upset and interrupt the sketch, claiming the phrase to be stolen from the Army's slogan.

Even later, the singer is seen in bed with the woman and introduces his song.
