Ken Shabby is a sketch that appears in "The Naked Ant," the twelfth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis[]
A noble father (Graham Chapman) is talking to his daughter, Rosamund's (Connie Booth), fiancé, a loud, diseased, grubby man called Ken Shabby. The father is only concerned if he'll be able to look after his daughter. He asks him about his job and where they are going to live. Despite all his dirty habits and hacking cough, the father accepts the marriage.
A narrator (John Cleese) explains that Rosamund's father has become 'ensnared by Mr Shabby's extraordinary personal magnetism', and then tells a rundown of stories of other people.
