Living Room on Pavement is a sketch that appears in "The Buzz Aldrin Show," the seventeenth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis[]
Mr and Mrs Potter (Michael Palin and Graham Chapman) sit on a sofa in a living room set up in the middle of a pavement. A presenter (Eric Idle) introduces the problem of housing for Britain's aged. Mrs Potter scalds him for doing a documentary on them and shoos him away. The presenter sadly leads his crew away. Mrs Potter tells them they should do a documentary about 'the drug problem in Walton Street' and the crew are shown speeding away. Mrs Potter leaves to have a bath, going through a door frame which leads to Alfred Lord Tennyson reading The Splendour Falls in the bathtub. Mrs Potter comments "the poet's been installed then".
