Marriage Registry Office is a sketch that appears in "It's a Living," the nineteenth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis[]
A customer, Nigel (Terry Jones) tells the registrar, Henry (Eric Idle) that he wants to get married. The register tells him he is already married but the customer tells him his wedding plans and the register still believes the customer wants to marry him. He reveals he's turned down several people already.
Another customer (Michael Palin) enters and says he wants to get married but the registrar declines. Another customer (Graham Chapman) enters and requests too but confusion leads to him believing his fiancé Nigel is marrying the second customer. A man (John Cleese) enters tells Henry to come with him but Henry reveals he's getting married to the other customers.
A narrator (Jones) says they all married happily and living in a council estate near Dulwich.
