Mr Badger first appeared in The Silliest Interview We've Ever Had, followed by The Silliest Sketch We've Ever Done in the episode “The War Against Pornography”.

In Bomb on Plane, he enters a sketch on a plane asking the pilots to pay him to reveal where a bomb is. After some confusion on where it actually is, and bartering his price, the director and actors decide to move on with the show as he's ruined the sketch.

In Mortuary Hour, he enters the sketch saying he'll leave for £1. The actors playing the corpses in the mortuary sit up to look at him annoyed.

After The Olympic Hide-and-Seek Final, Mr Badger tells Mr Robinson the interruption this time is free.

In Bull-fighting, as the Brigadier complains about the camp-ness of bull-fighters, he dims the lights and says he'll switch them back on for £1.

At the end of the show, it's revealed the BBC has let him read the credits for 40p. Once he's finished, he explains he's free for any other work before a 16-ton weight falls on him.
