Mr Hilter and the North Minehead by-election is a sketch that appears in "The Naked Ant," the twelfth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Synopsis[]
By the Axis Cafe (an Italian cafe owned by Mussolini) on Rosedale Road, Mr Hilter (John Cleese) rides through the quiet streets on a bicycle, shouting German through a megaphone, followed by Bimmler (Michael Palin) holding a placard and Ron Vibbentrop (Graham Chapman) with a gramophone playing the Deutschlandlied.
It cuts to Hilter giving a passionate speech on a balcony to an audience of three children and a yokel (Terry Jones). Hilter alternates between English and unintelligible pseudo-German, saying things "I am not a racialist!", and references to "schneaky Armstrong-Jones". He also tries to convince the audience that Taunton is historically already a part of Minehead (parodying Hitler's famous speech about justification for the annexation of Austria in 1938). Vibbentrop hands out flyers to the audience, and when Hilter has finished, plays a recording of a large crowd chanting 'Sieg Heil!' on his gramophone.
Then, there are interviews with the public about Mr Hilter's policies: a yokel (Chapman) comments he doesn't like the sound of the 'boncentration bamps', a woman (Eric Idle) says she gave him her baby to kiss but he bit it on the head, a City Gent (Cleese) says he would do a lot of good for the stock exchange, and a Gumby (Jones) who says he has 'beautiful legs'. Finally, another city gent (Chapman) says that, like most conservative candidates, all he does is drone on and on before foaming at the mouth and falling over backwards, doing so as he finishes.
The scene cuts back to the Spectrum presenter who uses the last gent's statement as a link to ask even more contemplative questions.
