Reg Pither is a character portrayed by Michael Palin. He is the protagonist of "The Cycling Tour," the first episode of Flying Circus to feature a full-length story.

Mr Pither wears glasses, a red beanie with a white pom-pom, short sleeve blue shirt, sandy coloured vest, black track pants, yellow socks and brown sandals. After the bicycle pump kept getting caught in his trouser leg, he switched to wearing sandy coloured shorts.
His first name is Reg, as announced at the Soviet meeting where he is an honoured guest, having brought their beloved "Trotsky" back to them.
