Party Hints with Veronica is a sketch that appears in "The All-England Summarize Proust Competition," the thirty-first episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis
Veronica (Eric Idle) sits at a kitchen table, running over the today's episode's itinerary which is "what to do if there is an armed communist uprising near your home when you're having a party." How to solve this problem depends on how far into the party you've been.
If the guests are just having "preliminary aperitifs" then they will be in a "fairly formal mood and it will be difficult to tell which are the communist agitators", the solution to which is shooting everybody. If the guests are having canapés, the best thing to do is set fire to all the houses in the street. She promptly concludes the show.
