Schoolboys' Life Assurance Company is a sketch that appears in "Mr and Mrs Brian Norris' Ford Popular," the twenty-eighth episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Synopsis[]
A group of schoolboys, Stebbins, Tidwell and Balderston (Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam), enter the schoolmaster's office (Michael Palin). The schoolmaster accuses them of running a unit-trust linked assurance scheme with fringe benefits and full cash-in endowment facilities. He tells them to stop this “extra-curricular capitalist expansion”.
The real reason he has called the boys in is to help his wife with her urinary problems, and asks which one is the surgeon. Tidwell admits he is the surgeon but says Stebbins is a gynaecologist. The schoolmaster hires him for 30 guineas to have an examination and report done by break.
