Series 3 was the third series of Monty Python's Flying Circus. It ran from 1972 to 1973, and its first episode was Whicker's World and its last episode was Grandstand. It starred Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and also kept actors like Carol Cleveland and Lyn Ashley. What made it different from the other seasons was how it started with The Nude Organist playing the organ, then cut to The BBC Continuity Announcer saying "and now for something completely different", then the "It's" Man saying his catchphrase "it's..." and the opening intro playing.

Season Intro[]
A series of pipes form together and release balloons that spell out "Monty Python's Flying Circus" while a gumby calls out, "Monty Python's Flying Cirucs-es". It is then revealed that a nude man in a bathtub is blowing the balloons through the pipes and is eventually squished by The Foot of Cupid. We then see two doctors wearing clown make-up sawing open a pregnant woman's stomach and retrieving a baby. It then cuts to a man stuck in a tiny car and being halted by a brick wall which opens up and punch the man in the face before making a stop sign and the brick wall fall on top of the man. The brick wall then opens up revealing a cylinder necked and headed man who gets pulled up by a giant hand revealing long teeth and a bomb, which explodes. Then a background of Hawaii with two palm trees shows up and "Monty Python's Flying Circus" in massive letters is held up by a sumo wrestler who gets squashed by The Foot of Cupid.
