Sir Lancelot the Brave (played by John Cleese) is a character in the film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He is a member of the Knights of the Round Table led by King Arthur and is known as "The Brave". He is the bravest member of the Round Table and is the only living member of the knights besides King Arthur, Sir Bedevere and Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Film. He saved Sir Galahad when he was in danger at Castle Anthrax and saved Prince Herbert when he was being forced to be married at The Swamp Castle by his father. But after surviving the Bridge of Death, he was arrested by the police for killing a famous historian (which he actually didn't kill, neither was responsible for it).
