Synopsis[]
An interviewer (Michael Palin) introduces Mr Norman St. John Polevaulter (Terry Jones) who has been contradicting people for the last few years. He asks him why, and Polevaulter replies he doesn't. The interviewer catches on and says "I understand you don't contradict people." Polevaulter says he started contradicting people in 1952, and the interviewer replies "1952?" to which Polevaulter says "no, 1947."
We cut to the announcer (John Cleese) fondly holding a pig. He says "And so on and so on and so on" before pointing out
